abdoul salam eet les ténèbres
originally released to 500 on limited cassette, Afro-Nigerian grooves saturate the fuzz of this great summer tape. Repetition is used relentlessly to heighten the rattle of the bass on side two (seriously, the bass is pumped several levels above the rest of production on side two, for some reason, but its endearing nonetheless).
